On October 1. 2017, congestion charge and environmental differentiation rates will be introduced at the toll points in Oslo. The new rates are divided into environment classes and fuel types. Rates at the toll points in Bærum are only adjusted after general inflation.
Oslo and Akershus have ambitious goals regarding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality. The introduction of time and environmental differentiation rates will contribute to achieving these goals by controlling traffic and financing projects that support the goals.

This will allow you to calculate your costs based on when you drive, where you drive, the emission class of your car, and whether you have an agreement or not.
