Norwegian toll companies have access to international vehicle registers and actively follow up unpaid tolls.
All vehicles are obliged to pay tolls in Norway, including foreign vehicles. If you do not pay your toll charges in Norway, extra fees will apply.
If you do not register your vehicle, you may be charged a fee for looking up the vehicle's owner details in your country's public vehicle register. The fee will only be for the actual costs incurred for the lookup, and will be itemised on the invoice.
Norway has the highest fees for unpaid toll charges in Scandinavia.
