Exemptions for embassy cars only apply to toll crossings in and around Oslo. In order to apply for an exemption, you must have a valid AutoPASS subscription for the vehicle in question.
It is easiest and quickest to apply online on My Page. Remember to fill in all fields and attach all necessary supporting documentation. We cannot grant an exemption until we have received all the necessary information.
You will receive a response to your inquiry within 3 weeks. On My Page you can always log in to see the latest developments in the case.
If you do not have an AutoPASS subscription, you can order one on autopass.no.
If your car does not have a registration number with the prefix “CD”, we need written confirmation from the relevant embassy that the vehicle is owned by a diplomat. You can attach this to the form when submitting your documentation.
Application by mail
If it is not possible to apply digitally, the application must be sent by mail.
You print out a paper application and send it by mail. Remember to fill in all fields and attach confirmation that the vehicle is owned by a diplomat if the car does not have CD plates. We cannot grant an exemption until all necessary information and documentation has been submitted.
