Here you can find the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about billing.
How often we bill you depends on whether you have an agreement or not and how much you drive.
With AutoPASS-agreement: If you drive for over 500 kr a month, we will send you a bill the following month. If you drive for less than 500 kroner a month, you will receive a bill once you have driven for over 500 kr or within 5 months.
With agreement Amount When bill is sent 500 kr or more Every month Less than 500 kr Within 5 months

With eBilling, the bill is sent straight to your online bank. You can easily check the bill, and then confirm the payment with only one click.
You can set up eBilling the next time you pay a bill in your online bank. Another option is logging on to your online bank account and finding an overview of payment agreements under “payment”. Choose eBilling and enter a new eBilling agreement with us. The eBilling reference number is 000 in front of your customer number.
Free crossings apply to electric cars, hydrogen cars, HC cards, embassy cars, emergency vehicles and bus routes.
To get free crossings at our toll points you must have an active exemption agreement. If you do not have an exemption agreement, you can get one by filling out the form.
There is a security deposit, so even if you have exemption agreement, you will still receive an invoice for the deposit.
Hour rule: You only pay for one crossing per hour. This applies separately for Oslo and Bærum.
Monthly ceiling: You will only be charged for a maximum amount of 60 crossings per month. "Per month" refers to the calendar months, from the first day of the month to the last day of the month.
You can see your crossings on Min side or in our app. To see if you have been charged for more than 60 crossings in a month, you will need to look at the time period and not the crossings related to the invoice. This is because an invoice may take two or more calendar months.
When we delete crossings on a bill, they will appear on the next bill. There will be a minus sign in front of the sum, rf (short for refund), date and time from when the crossing was deleted. You have not been charged, as they are only there to show that they have been deleted.
It could be that the crossing was not registered properly, causing an error. Unfortunately, this can happen on occasion. This happens at the picture crossings, where a system takes a picture of your plates and interprets the letters and numbers. They do this to bill the car for the crossing, but sometimes the system misreads the plate and therefore bills a different person.
If you have been billed for a crossing at a location where you have never been before, contact us by phone 02050 or by chat so that we can take a closer look at the crossing. If the crossing is a system error, we will delete it and you will receive a new bill.
The most common reason for receiving a bill for a sold car is that your AutoPASS agreement has not been cancelled. It is important to cancel your agreement immediately after the car is sold as we are not notified by Statens Vegvesen about this. This is because it is possible to have an AutoPASS agreement on a car you do not own.
When you have received a bill for a sold car, contact us so we can cancel your agreement and see if there is anything we can do about the bill. If there are picture crossings on the bill after the sales date, then we can delete those for a certain amount of time. We cannot do anything about tag crossings as you are responsible for your tag. If the tag is in a new car, it is important to change the car number on the tag. You can do this yourself in our app or on Min side.
If you have received a bill where all your crossings are dated 01.01.1970, then you have an agreement where you have reserved yourself against storage of crossing information. When you have a tracker free agreement, we delete all your crossings as soon as they are registered. This means that no one can see your crossing data, not even you or the police. We can therefore not show when the crossings took place, which is why a standard date is given instead.
You can get detailed billing by logging on to Min side and registering this under agreement details.
You can also contact us by chat and we will assist you.
