Here you can find answers to some of our most common questions about the tag.

  • How do I order new tag?

    You can easily add new vehicles to an existing customer number via My page.

    You have two options. How you add a new car to you agreement depends on how you want us to bill you.

    1. Combined invoice: Log in to My page and click on the green box "add vehicle". Then enter the new vehicle number and enter all if the vehicle details. When that is done, click "continue".
      Then you tick of how you want the "new tag" (You Will get a new tag sent to you in the mail). "Existing tag" (This is for you if you want to move your tag from one tag to another). "Free tag" (If you have a tag to spare that is now not in use). Then click "continue".
      Then select "existing agreement". If you have more then one agreement you can choose which agreement you want to register your new vehicle.
       
    2. Separate invoice: Log in to My page and click on the green box "add vehicle". Then enter the new vehicle number and enter all if the vehicle details. When that is done, click "continue".
      Then you tick of how you want the "new tag" (You Will get a new tag sent to you in the mail). "Existing tag" (This is for you if you want to move your tag from one tag to another). "Free tag" (If you have a tag to spare that is now not in use). Then click "continue".
      Then select "new agreement".
       

    Please note that it may take a few days before the order is registered in our system. The agreement is valid from the day you enter into an agreement with us even if you do not have tag registered. It usually takes 1-2 weeks from signing up the AutoPASS agreement until you receive your tag from us in the mail.

  • I have a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes used in the industry. How do I get a tag?

    It is mandatory for vehicles over 3.5 tons in the industry to have active and valid tag. If you do not have one you can sign up for an agreement with Fjellinjen today and receive it within 1-2 weeks. You can also get a tag on the customs stations and ferries along the border.

  • I've sold my car, what do I do with the tag?

    If you are planing to use your tag in a new car later on you can free in on My page. If you are not going to use your tag in a new car you can terminate it by contacting us over the phone +47 22 98 40 00 or over chat. You will receive your deposit back. The tag you will throw out yourself in the electrical waste.
